Beauty Haul of the Month

I really love Sephora, but everything in there is so expensive so I try hard to avoid going in. I was in desperate need of replenishing my makeup this month though, so here are a few of the items I got.

Clinique foundation is pretty much the only make up that doesn't make my super-over sensitive skin break out, but still covers all of the little flaws.

Free beauty insider gifts. I love these.

I've always heard such amazing things about the Naked Pallets, and never tried them. I saw this mini pallet in natural colors and had to try it out. I'm still trying to figure out how to do a smokey eye. No matter how many tutorials I watch, it just won't work for me.

This is my second time using Makeup Forever HD. I actually didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me.

Chic On Sale

I'm not going to lie, I'm obsessed with outlets.

On my way home from vacation, I stopped in Atlantic City at the Tanger Outlets. It was Fourth of July weekend, so they had amazing sales going on. A lot of stores were completely 50% off of everything, but of course that wasn't any of the stores that had pulled me in. I ended up where I always do, at BCBG Max Azria.

Gardenia

I've been looking for more ways to showcase my work in person. I was presented with the opportunity to have a small exhibit at the East Fishkill Library near where I live. I was really excited about it and I made a collection for them entitled "Gardenia."

Just a few outfit photos. I'm really not used to these, let me know what you think.

Woodbury Commons

If any of you have been to the Woodbury Commons Outlets in New York, you know that the Michael Kors outlet is one of the stores you must go to. It has a great layout and a lot of sales. Most of the stores only have a couple sales, and put a lot of regular priced items in their store and just lure you in with their signs promising for good deals. The Michael Kors store is one of the few ones their that actually has the good sales that they are talking about. One of the associates even gave us an additional 20% off which made it even better. And some of the items in the store are the exact same ones that you would find at Macy's or Lord and Taylor.

Here are a couple of the items I got:

I really liked this bag. Since I am always commuting, it was big enough to fit a book, my portfolio, etc. but is still pretty slim so it doesn't look like I'm hauling my entire life around.

I loved the texture on this iPad case, and it was really on sale. I was kind of obsessed. It was the last one that they had.

I really needed a new wallet. I hate big wallets but I can never fit everything into the cute tiny card holder ones, so this was a good in-between. I also loved that it matched the iPad case.
